Laura Mazur is the head of the Litigation Department and specializes in complex, commercial litigation. She works closely with clients during all stages of their business activities; she advises on investment processes, contract negotiations and execution, and litigation. Laura is skilled in identifying risks, problem-solving, and creating litigation strategies. She is adept at protecting and preserving evidence for the purpose of dispute mitigation. She has an extensive experience in the construction, medical and energy sectors, providing her clients with daily, on-going legal services including, among others: drafting correspondence with investors and contractors, mainly focusing on implementation of contracts, financial settlements, conclusion of works, preparing case strategies for initiating or defending in proceedings for renumerations, contract penalties or other, and finally representation of clients in court. She has represented clients in domestic and international court proceedings and arbitrations (ICC, SAKIG, SIDIR, Lewiatan, Swiss Rules). Laura is a skilled negotiator and has acted as a mediator for numerous disputes. Prior to the creation of Viroux & Partners, Laura worked at another prominent, international law firm in Warsaw.

Anna Wąsiewska

Anna is the head of Corporate Department. She mainly advises clients in the real estate and construction sectors but has worked in a variety of industries. She has experience leading M&A transactions and advising on banking and finance matters. Anna works together with other departments of Viroux & Partners on commercial and regulatory issues. She provides comprehensive services to her clients at all stages of their business ventures, including, among others: advising on contractual negotiations, agreements on design and building of works, agreements on delivery, and copyright assignments, as well as representing clients before administrative authorities. She has extensive experience working on both asset and share deals. Anna is keenly interested in the business aspects of the firm's clients, and she follows trends and events in the real estate market. This extensive knowledge lends itself well to problem solving outside the usual scope of business issues. Anna is known to be a calm and level-headed lawyer, which is important during difficult negotiations. She focuses on issues relevant to her clients, assessing potential risks and the chances of their occurrence, and protects the key interests of her clients.

Zuzanna Maszczyńska heads the Private Client Department and is also a member of the Litigation and Arbitration practices. She provides comprehensive services to individual clients, their families, and companies related to them by capital or person. The scope of these services covers various areas of law, among others, civil law, family law, criminal law, as well as corporate matters, wealth planning and asset management. Zuzanna understands that a private client is client of all needs; she leads teams that combine lawyers of Viroux & Partners’ other practice groups to ensure her clients are receiving full-scope legal services. Beyond serving private individuals, Zuzanna represents clients in disputes concerning various commercial matters, including company law, trade contracts, tort and unfair competition. He has also advised on various financing transactions and transfer transactions on the capital market, and bankruptcy proceedings. Jakub also supports clients with decisions related to business development. He has extensive experience in solving everyday problems related to running a business, as well as representing clients in complex disputes in negotiations and national court proceedings. He participated as a speaker at meetings of public entities' bodies in order to explain legal issues.
